Graduate Student Advisor, Ava Lasmanis<\/strong>, is an M.A. student in philosophy at Johns Hopkins University.  She completed her B.A. in philosophy, German, and cognitive science in 2024, also at JHU, and will be pursuing a PhD in German Studies at Brown University starting next fall.  Her interests include existentialism, phenomenology, German modernism, as well as the works of Kafka, Nietzsche, and Heidegger, among others. <\/p>\n<\/div>

President of Prometheus,<\/strong> Luciana Ramos Barroso<\/strong>, was born and raised in Mexico City and is currently an undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University, majoring in Cognitive Science, Psychology, and Philosophy. She is a Board Member of the Students for Environmental Action (SEA). Her interests include Absurdism, Chopin\u2019s Nocturnes, Liszt\u2019s Transcendental \u00c9tudes, holistic health, psychedelic research, par 3 golf holes, letter writing, and walking. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Kaethan Virmani<\/strong> is a 2nd-year Computer Music student at the Peabody Institute, with a minor in Philosophy at the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus. He is a music producer, essayist, and singer. Outside of music and philosophy, he has an interest in math, video games, and world affairs.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Khris Pham<\/strong> is an undergraduate student in the Johns Hopkins Class of 2027. He is pursuing a double major in Philosophy and Computer Science with a concentration in AI Ethics. His interests include metaphysics, philosophy of mind, ethics, and the societal implications of emerging technologies. He enjoys wearing slip-on shoes due of their convenience and clean look.

Virankha Ann Peter<\/strong> is a Classics, Cognitive Science, and Philosophy major from Princeton, New Jersey. Her interests in philosophy include Eastern philosophy, philosophy of emotion, healing, and narrative. She is particularly interested in interdisciplinary study, building off scientific empiricism, that uses philosophy to answer \u201cwhy\u201d and \u201cwhat should we do\u201d questions about culture, humanity, and the environment.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Mason Holmes<\/strong> is a 3rd-year Mechanical Engineering major and Philosophy minor. His main interests in philosophy lies in political philosophy, the philosophy of language, and logic. Outside of academic settings, Mason’s main hobbies include weightlifting and trying new AYCE restaurants.

Alexis Weiss<\/strong> designed Prometheus\u2019 new website. She is a freshman studying the widest range of subjects she can combine. She loves political philosophy and creative philosophical writings. In her free time, she is a juggler of all things, but especially of balls and juggling clubs.<\/p>\n<\/div>
