Submissions were due on January 15th, 2026, 11:59 PM EST. Decisions are to be expected by mid-March 2026, and publication in summer 2026.
These were our submission guidelines for the 2025-2026 cycle:
In order to submit to the journal, you must be an undergraduate or a graduating senior.
Submissions should be written in English, 12-point font, double-spaced, and should not exceed 6,000 words. The word limit includes footnotes but does not include the abstract or the references. Essays should be the author’s original work. The paper shall have proper citations in any consistent format, such as the MLA, APA, or Chicago. Please include a short abstract (100-200 words) and the word count at the beginning of your paper.
Do not include your name or other identifying information in the paper to enable blind review. Your contact information will be collected via the submission form.
